Godwink is an event or personal experience, often identified as coincidence, so astonishing that it is seen as a sign of divine intervention, especially when perceived as the answer to a prayer.

Jere are some of my experiences I have experienced related to prayer

  • Flying home from India
  • God helped me through a tough time

Flying home from India

One day I was flying home from one of my travels to India and we have flown approximately 30 minutes and we had a lot of turbulence. I am afraid of flying, so I told my friend that we have to pray the Gayatri mantra - a prayer I have learned through my travels to India, and its origin is from the Vedas, which are holy scriptures. Inside of me came forth the idea of a longing to see how the powerful prayer works. I had an inner feeling of wanting to see the powerful prayer in action.

God granted my wish. I started praying and suddenly I saw a thick golden beam of light looking like a very thick rope coming from the heart region of my body, splitting into two thick ropes and each of them went through the window on each side of the plane. I was in awe. It was quite overwhelming to watch and so thrilling at the same time. Then I saw the two ropes become one very thick rope on top of the plane and saw God walking beside the plane holding the thick golden white rope in his hand. The light in the rope was so beautiful and the turbulence stopped. He carried to plane to the airport and we landed perfectly. What an incredible experience it was. To see the most powerful prayer in action, I will never forget that experience. That is why I try to inspire people to look into the Gayatri mantra.

God helped me through a tough time

Before I got the job i August 2018 something tough happened to me as He told me would happen. I had no idea of what it could be but soon I was about to find out.

I had some pain where my liver is placed in the body and I talked to my doctor about it and she sent me to be scanned by a professional.

Some years before that I had an operation where the hospital removed my gallbladder and my doctor thought it might be scar tissue from that operation that gave me the pain, but to be sure she suggested that I should have the area scanned.

That person who scanned my liver area didn’t tell me about what she found during the scan, but contacted my doctor afterward and told them that they needed to act, because she saw something looking like a tumor in the liver.

The doctor contacted me at once and told me that I had to go to the hospital to be scanned again due to the findings. I was offered what they called a cancer package at the hospital, that would take me through several examinations and tests so that they would be sure if I had cancer or not.

The gastrointestinal unit diagnoses and treats patients with cancer and with suspected colon, colon, and rectal cancer. They investigate patients with suspected esophageal, gastric, biliary, pancreatic, and liver cancers. All patients who are referred for an examination start a cancer package. A package deal is a way of organizing investigations and eventual treatment. The purpose of a package course is to offer patients high-quality studies and treatment in well-designed courses with clear information along the way.

The treatment is carried out in close collaboration with cancer doctors and surgeons at Rigshopitalet, Herlev, and Gentofte Hospital, x-ray doctors, pathologists, and clinical physiologists in Denmark.

My whole world broke down. Did I have cancer? I thought of my son and Family at once and I couldn’t comprehend that I could be sick of a disease that could kill me. They had a suspicion that it might be cancer. What goes through your mind at that stage I can’t describe in words. It was dreadful and a feeling of hopelessness came over me.

Then God told me: You do not have cancer! I was in awe. Did He just say I do not have cancer? And then He repeated it: You do not have cancer. So, what was it they found on my liver then? Sometimes things are not what they look like. And that was the case.

Due to my scan and tissue tests, they found out that nothing was wrong with my liver, but the scan show something else. They found a tumor on my left kidney.

The amazing people working in that area were so sweet and caring except for one doctor. She said when she examined me that it was a tumor I had in my liver in a very harsh way. But she was proven wrong. When they took the samples there was no finding of any cancer in my entire body.

And do you know what happened? The next time I was examined there was absolutely nothing to show in the liver. Everything looked fine.

But emotionally I went through hell and back again several times. It was not easy for me to cope with all of this, but when I was really sad, He was here watching me, smiling, helping me through it, and said again ‘You do not have cancer’.

The doctor at the hospital had to send me to the biggest hospital in Denmark to examine the tumor in my kidney. She said the samples do not show any cancer, but I am not sure about the tumor in your kidney.

Did I have cancer anyway? Then He came again and said in His divine wonderful fatherly and caring voice: No, you do not have cancer.

I was sent to the hospital so that they could remove the tumor in the kidney. I am sure it was God Himself doing this. He helped me so that they could find it and remove it in time. He was the one telling me to see a doctor about my pain in the first place.

So, in April of 2018, I had the tumor in my kidney removed and they examined it very carefully; No cancer at all. Nothing to show. All was good.

Within me came His voice again this time saying: I told you, no cancer. I saw His wonderful smile and I felt protected and loved. Then He said: you have to go through yet an operation, a small one. Nothing to be afraid of.

And that exactly happened in May 2018. They had to stop the bleeding from my kidney. It took less than 45 minutes and I was all good again. Now I know how tough it is for people going through examination due to suspicion of cancer. I pray for you all.

I am not telling you to drop the daily prayers you have known for years. The prayers written are for your inspiration only. It is entirely up to you if you would like to use them as well. The Gayatri Mantra is available on youtube and you can hear it recited correctly by listening to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba recite it! Pronouncing is the most important as told earlier. It will bring forth divinity in man.

Here are two of the prayers I use every day:

The Lord's prayer:

Our Father who art in Heaven,

Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom comes, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day your daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not in temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Thy are the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever.' Amen"

and this one I got to know on my travels to India.
